"I was only seven years old when my parents bought our first computer system. It was a used Wang 8086 running MS-DOS, which I was completely clueless as how to operate at first (as most beginners would be). Within days, I began to adapt to the syntax and started navigating through the memory, which consisted mainly of essential system files, a few games, and a very pixelated banner making program. Although the computer was satisfying, my natural curiosity took over, and I began to wonder how this machine actually worked.

With a few crude tools, I opened the cover of that old computer and took my first glimpse into what I would now consider a technological wonderland. Although the Wang was very functionality limited, it was bulky, heavy, and was packed full of circuit boards, microprocessors, and of course, dust. I began browsing... what did what, which cable went to where, and was soon mesmerized with this machine.

As the years passed, my interest heightened, and each successive system I owned, I had taken apart and put back together countless times. Some I modified for higher performance, others I purposely altered so errors could occur that I would ultimately seek out and repair, taking in the knowledge I acquired along the way.

Now is the time that I feel I can use this knowledge to benefit others, as well as my own self. I am constantly on the hunt for information about the changing technologies of today, and I constantly strive to incorporate that knowledge into everything I do. We are living our lives in a digital world, and many are not yet adapted to it. I feel it is my responsibility to help those who have not yet embraced the high-tech society of today, and provide them with the knowledge and services needed to keep up."
